Powercor Lorne Pier to Pub 2025
The Lorne Pier to Pub is an annual 1.2-km open water swimming race held in January at Lorne.
The much-loved Powercor Lorne Pier to Pub and Powercor Lorne Mountain to Surf events are making a much-anticipated return in 2025, promising an exhilarating experience for participants and spectators alike.
The iconic ocean swim, now in its 45th year, will take place on Saturday 11 January, commencing at the historic Lorne Pier. Participants will brave the fresh waters of Louttit Bay, embarking on a 1.2-kilometre journey to the foreshore where cheering crowds await their arrival.
The Mountain to Surf, a thrilling 8-kilometre fun-run, will kick off the day prior on Friday 10 January. Runners will traverse a breathtaking course through Lorne's picturesque trails, scaling the region's mountain terrain before descending to the Great Ocean Road coastline for a gripping finish at the Lorne Surf Club.
