Wyndham Art Gallery's exhibition program is curated to reflect the diverse social and cultural character that makes up the Wyndham community while inviting the viewer to explore new and challenging ideas.
This season's program is focused on new and emerging voices as we invite guest curators into the space to provide a platform for new perspectives. Wyndham Art Gallery is committed to showing high quality work and regularly exhibits emerging artists alongside more established artists.
Every exhibition features an 'Artist in Conversation' an artist or curator talk and larger exhibitions feature a range of activities such as tours and workshops through the 'Go Deeper' engagement program.
Mentoring for emerging artists is available through the Art Paths Program and annually the gallery hosts the Wyndham Art Prize. This year the gallery is proud to offer the Leap Acquisitive in addition to the People's Choice Award and Best in Show. The LEAP Acquisitive or Local Emerging Art Prize is a new award that champions new and emerging voices from the Deep West.
