Department of Transport and Planning |
Victoria's Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) brings together key transport, planning, land, precinct and policy functions within a single department to create thriving places and connected communities.
The integrated Department of Transport plans and operates transport in a way that matches the people and products that travel on it, focusing on the destination, rather than which mode we use.
Victoria has an extensive passenger rail network of metropolitan, intrastate and interstate train services providing vital public transport links to communities throughout the State.
