The Royal Geelong Yacht Club is a yacht club founded in 1859 and based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The club received its royal patronage in 1924. The club is based on the shores of Corio Bay in central Geelong.

GYC is home to Festival of Sails, the largest sailing regatta in the Southern Hemisphere and the biennial Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong. Enjoy activities along the historic Geelong waterfront and the Club's marina in the heart of the city.

Join us in a range of learn to sail experiences, Twilight sailing, Saturday racing and regattas. Our club welcomes people of all abilities.

Boating visitors can berth safely in front of our clubhouse and Marina View café.

This is the perfect location for a wide range of sailing and boating activities, social events & celebrations.
