To Melbourne by ROAD

Avalon Airport is located 55 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD and is an easy, 40-minute, toll free drive from the CBD. From Melbourne's CBD, cross over the Westgate Bridge and travel along the Princes Freeway towards Geelong. Take the Avalon turn-off (Beach Road).

To Geelong by ROAD

Avalon Airport is 20 kilometres from Geelong's CBD. Travel along the Princes Freeway towards Melbourne for approximately 15 minutes and take the Avalon turn-off (Beach Road).

To Melbourne & Geelong by BUS

Avalon Airport is serviced by two operators to and from Melbourne and Geelong.

TRAIN

Lara Train Station is situated a few kilometers from Avalon Airport but there are no connecting bus services. You would have to hail a taxi at the airport to travel to Lara Station. V-Line does not operate any services to/from Avalon.
