Founded in January 2018 Wonder Pies is the brainchild of renowned Melbourne Chef Raymond Capaldi and was established as a wholesale bakehouse that specialises in a range of savoury and sweet bakery products.
The initial concept was simple; to produce the best pies and pastries from the best locally sourced ingredients and we continue to be committed to this and pride ourselves on the quality of our handcrafted deep pan pies with a short crust topped with puff pastry then finished with a French glaze.
Only a few short years on our product range has grown under the leadership of Head Baker George Callus and we are exceptionally proud to now offer a selection of pies rolls quiches and pasties for events functions individuals families and restaurants. As well as providing food service options across our collection of products we are excited to offer Nana Fraser's sweets Plantico's vegan selection filos croquettes chiko rolls pate terrines and our mac 'n cheese signature range.
We supply our products to a vast range of high-quality restaurants and retailers throughout Australia as well as our own Baketico bakeri and larder stores around Melbourne. Wonder Pies can now be found across Melbourne Adelaide Brisbane and soon in Sydney.
Locations
We have made the move to our wonderful new headquarters in Coburg North and our Wonder Pies Flagship Shop at 113 Newlands Road is opening the doors. Our front-facing shop with our coffee window and wrap around seating is our pride and joy and we can't wait to bring the Wonder Pies menu to the Coburg area. Open from 7am to 4pm 7 days per week.
Brunswick Factory Outlet
Our Factory Outlet has moved from Bulleen to Brunswick and is now behind Baketico at 75 Nicholson Street in Brunswick East.
You can pick up all the pies rolls pasties and quiches that you know and love plus some extra bits and pieces from local makers and producers like Dan's Empanadas NooMooFoods Vegan products our Mac n' Cheese range croquettes paté terrines pasta and options for vegetarian and vegan eaters.
